Dr. Najiba Mustafayeva is an Assistant Professor at the Ibn Haldun University (Türkiye) and Deputy Director of HACE. She holds a master’s degree in international and European Law from the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) with a specialization in International Trade and Investment Law and a Ph.D. degree in Law from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University). She started her career at the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), worked at the Center for Strategic Studies, International Committee of the Red Cross, Baku State University, ADA University, SME Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a head of International Cooperation Department and Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a Deputy Director. She is the author of 2 books and more than 30 articles and op-eds, published in Azerbaijan, Türkiye, the United States, Russia, Moldova, Greece, and Poland.
