He was born in 1965 in the district of Günyüzü of Eskişehir. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Eskişehir. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. In 1997, he completed specialist education in the Department of Child Psychiatry and Diseases, Istanbul University Istanbul Medical School and became a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Associate Professor in 2000 and Professor in 2007. He is currently a lecturer at the Department of Psychology at Ibn Khaldun University. Child Psychiatry, School Phobia on 99 Pages, Children and Children in Divorced Families published books titled Impulsivity. He is married and has three daughters.
